Scope

These terms apply to all orders placed through this store.

Contract

The presentation of goods is not a binding offer. By placing an order you make a binding offer; the contract is concluded when we confirm the order or dispatch the goods.

Prices and payment

All prices are final prices in euro; shipping is added at checkout. Payment is due on ordering. Goods are dispatched from Germany.

What we sell

We sell log splitters and firewood-processing equipment — electric, petrol and PTO splitters, saw benches, a firewood processor and accessories. Force, orientation, log size and power figures on a listing are the manufacturer's rated figures; splitting performance depends on the wood, its moisture and the grain.

Safety

A log splitter is a powerful machine, CE marked. Read the manual before use, keep both hands and other people clear of the ram and wedge, and never override the two-hand control. Petrol machines are for outdoor use only because of exhaust fumes and need the correct fuel and oil. A PTO splitter attaches to a tractor's power take-off; keep every guard and the shaft shield in place. Electric machines need a suitable supply (230 V, some 400 V three-phase). Wear gloves, sturdy boots and eye protection.

Retention of title

The goods remain our property until paid for in full.

Right of withdrawal and warranty

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal and the statutory warranty; see the Refund Policy.

Applicable law

German law applies. For consumers this does not affect the mandatory protection of the law of their country of residence.
